Four IU Students Awarded Gilman Scholarships for Summer 2016

Four Indiana University students were recently awarded Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarships to pursue studies overseas for summer 2016.
- Chela Blunt, a sophomore double majoring in Finance and Business Analytics, received a $2,500 scholarship to participate in an internship in Hong Kong, China this summer.
- Emina Ibrahimovic, a sophomore double majoring in International Studies and Russian and East European Languages & Cultures with minors in Political Science and East European Studies, received a $4,000 scholarship to study at the American University of Bosnia and Herzegovina this summer.
- Alexis Jenkins, a sophomore double majoring in Communications & Culture and Theatre & Drama with a minor in French, received a $2,000 scholarship to study in Guatemala this summer.
- Jack Zhang, a sophomore double majoring in Cognitive Science and Economics, received a $2,500 scholarship to study in Maastricht, Netherlands this summer.
The Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship program is sponsored by the U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, and administered by the Institute of International Education.
