Rachel DiPietro-James Study Abroad Scholarship
This scholarship was established to honor the memory of Rachel DiPietro-James, an IU sophomore who died tragically in an automobile accident in February, 2008.
One scholarship is awarded annually to an IU undergraduate student who has been accepted into the CIEE program in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Award Amount: $1,000
Applications are due by February 28, 2011.
Scholarship requirements:

IUB full-time undergraduate student

Demonstrated commitment to study of the Spanish language

Minimum overall 3.00 GPA
In selecting a recipient for this award, priority will be given to students who exhibit one or more of the following characteristics: 1. Are pursuing multiple academic interests at IU 2. Demonstrate enthusiasm for the Hispanic world 3. Are involved in extra-curricular activities
