Indiana University Overseas Study Presidential Match Scholarships

IU President Michael McRobbie and the IU Foundation established a new program to help make study abroad more affordable for students who might not be able to study abroad otherwise through a new endowment income matching program. Donors have endowed these special scholarships which are managed by the units indicated below. Awards may vary depending on the length of the program and the amount of the endowment. Since gifts continue to be made, please check this list on a regular basis for new scholarships. Check the links below for instructions on how to apply for the funding.

  • Anderson Overseas Study Scholarship
    IUB full-time undergraduate with major or minor in SGIS, 3.0 GPA
  • James D. Fielding Family Study Abroad Scholarship
    IUB undergraduate in School of Global and International Studies in IU approved program abroad

  • Jorgensen Family Global Gateway Scholarship
    IUB Education undergraduate teaching in Kenya, Tanzania or India through Global Gateway for Teachers Program
