Indiana University Overseas Study Presidential Match Scholarships

IU President Michael McRobbie and the IU Foundation established a new program to help make study abroad more affordable for students who might not be able to study abroad otherwise through a new endowment income matching program. Donors have endowed these special scholarships which are managed by the units indicated below. Awards may vary depending on the length of the program and the amount of the endowment. Since gifts continue to be made, please check this list on a regular basis for new scholarships. Check the links below for instructions on how to apply for the funding.

  • Jim Perin Study Abroad Scholarship
    IU full-time undergraduate accepted to study in Overseas Study Program in Freiburg, Germany, preference to alumni from IUHPFL program in Krefeld
  • Scott C. Schurz Study Abroad Scholarship
    IU full-time undergraduate in a media-related major accepted to an IU co-sponsored semester program with media-related content, academic merit and demonstrated financial need
