Other Minority Scholarships

  • The scholarships, grants, subsidized and unsubsidized loans that you might receive from Student Financial Assistance for study at IU may be used to pay for study abroad. You may also be eligible for additional loans for your period abroad.
  • NAFSA: Association for International Educators' Web site includes a list of Funding Options for Underrepresented Populations.
  • Robert E. Bailey III Minority Student Scholarships, available through the Council on International Education Exchange, for students on CIEE study abroad programs.
  • IES Abroad Diversity Scholarships of up to $5,000 for students participating in IES programs available for under-represented students including students from under-represented racial and ethnic groups, first generation to college students, students from low income families and students with a history of overcoming adversity.
