Students take a French language course and area studies courses in English (or French with appropriate background) for Americans. Requires 2 or more semesters of French and a major or minor in Business or Economics (IU students may not earn business credit, though).
Nantes

Students take language and area studies courses in French for Americans and mainstreamed courses. Requires 4-5 semesters of French.
Paris
CIEE (Council on International Educational Exchange)
Advanced program, focused on critical theory, taught in French with possible mainstreamed enrollment in Paris III. Requires 5 semesters of French. Students select own housing. Newer option of contemporary French studies with 2 semesters French required, focused on language and culture.
Boston University
Internship program available in diverse fields coupled with intense language study. Students must have completed at least 4 semesters of French.
The College of Global Studies (Arcadia University)
Program focusing on international relations, government and politics. Beginning through Advanced French is offered, so no previous language required. Opportunity for independent research.
