CIEE (Council on International Educational Exchange)
Fully integrated service program. Two part core course with integrated service, language training and academic capstone project. Must have demonstrated experience in community service and volunteerism. Student residence.
IES (Institute for International Education of Students)
Program consists of 2 required core courses, a history of South Africa course and a focused core course on your choice of health, economic or environmental development, management or sociology, which will culminate in a field placement or service project and final research project. Students also take several electives at the University of Cape Town. Housing in apartments.
Stellenbosch

Required politics and culture of South Africa course in addition to four courses from numerous faculties at Stellenbosch University.. Community service participation. Student residence or university apartments.
