Students looking for Studio Art credit should first consider the programs highlighted on this page. Available coursework may include: courses pre-approved with an IU equivalent and courses that need to be evaluated. Students who need to fulfill specific major/minor requirements while abroad should consult their academic advisor. In order to fulfill specific Studio Art degree requirements, students will be required to submit a portfolio for review upon completion of coursework abroad.

There are hundreds of additional study abroad programs throughout the world that IU students can participate in as a "Non-IU Program." To begin your search for a Non-IU program, we recommend browsing the websites of organizations with which we partner on multiple study abroad programs: CIEE, DIS, IES Abroad. Before you pursue one of their programs, make sure to check our website and make sure it is not a program that we co-sponsor – in which case you would apply to the program though our office.
