  • At least 30 hours per week
  • Placements in the arts, business, consulting, history, international relations, museums, music, NGOs, psychology, sociology
  • Accompanying course: Leading Across Cultures (Internship Seminar)

Course Load

• 6 IU credit hours
  •  3-credit German language (level assigned by IES placement test)
    • GR 101 German Language in Context: Novice Abroad I (GER-G 100)
    • GR 201 German Language in Context: Novice Abroad III (GER-G 150)
    • GR 301 German Language in Context: Emerging Independent I (GER-G 200)
  • 3-credit academic internship seminar
    
    • Leading Across Cultures (FRST-F 400+)

You may apply if you:

• are an undergraduate student at any Indiana University campus who is making normal academic progress
• are in at least your fourth full-time semester of college
• have approximately a 2.75 cumulative GPA

Students must have a passport valid for six months beyond program's end date.

Students must be able to demonstrate flexibility, resilience, and self-reliance.

Complete eligibility criteria and selection criteria are outlined within the Academic Policies and Procedures of the Office of Overseas Study. Selection is based on maturity, seriousness of purpose, and appropriateness of match between program and applicant. Students on disciplinary probation during program period are ineligible.
