• Required on-site orientation at City U the week prior to the start of the semester, including topics related to academics, visas, finalizing registration, and student life. 
• All courses taught in English, option to take Cantonese or Mandarin language courses
• 5 courses in business, general education, and culture (3 credits each). No more than 2 non-Business courses

This program is restricted to students admitted to the IU Bloomington Kelley School of Business.

The program will satisfy the IUB Gen Ed World Languages and Culture Requirement.

• Students are housed with other international students in 11 student residences near campus and accessible to public transportation.
• Residence halls offer single, double, or triple room accommodations and are equipped with internet, laundry facilities, and shared kitchens.

You may apply if you:

• are an admitted Kelley business student on the Bloomington campus
• are in at least your fourth full-time semester of college
• have (or will have) successfully completed the KSB prerequisites of the Business Integrative Core by the start of the program
• have at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA

Students must have a passport valid for six months beyond program's end date.

Students must be able to demonstrate flexibility, resilience, and self-reliance.

Complete eligibility criteria and selection criteria are outlined within the Academic Policies and Procedures of the Office of Overseas Study. Selection is based on maturity, seriousness of purpose, and appropriateness of match between program and applicant. Students on disciplinary probation during program period are ineligible.

• Fees paid to IU: (academic fees and health insurance)
  • Indiana resident: $5,384.66*
  • Non-resident: $19,221.13*
• Airfare, housing, meals, personal expenses, and vacation travel not included.

*The Overseas Study fee is based on actual IU tuition that is set by the IU Board of Trustees and billed based on a student’s residency. 

Initial prepayment of $500 due April 5, 2022.
