This course provides an opportunity for graduate students to widen their international experiences and to explore one of the world’s largest emerging markets. Each year a country is selected based on student preferences and in Spring 2017, the course addresses South Africa and its position as one of the most important emerging markets in the world. Class meetings prior to the study tour will address the business and institutional environments of South Africa.
Travel is scheduled to coincide with Spring Break, usually covering about ten days. Students are allotted time for sightseeing and doing cultural activities in addition to attending business meetings with various organizations. Major team project reports will be due after the trip is completed.
