Most programs can accept all qualified applicants; there are no limits on the number of spaces available. Therefore students are only permitted to submit one IU application per term. Students who meet all eligibility criteria and submit a complete application by the deadline should expect to be accepted. But there are a few programs with limited capacities; IU is only able to offer places to a specific number of students. A study abroad advisor can inform you if the program you are considering falls into this category.

Committees begin reviewing applications after the deadline has passed (there are no rolling admissions). It takes approximately 4 weeks from the program deadline for decisions to be sent to applicants.
