This program explores healthcare in Swaziland in its many dimensions. Students will complete readings, attend lectures at the University of Swaziland, visit governmental and non-governmental organizations, and participate in critical reflections sessions. Students will also visit key cultural sites throughout the Kingdom and in South Africa.
Students will enroll in HON-H 398 (Honors topics) or PBHL-A 466 (Public Health Field Experience) for 3 credits.
The available coursework is particularly suited for, but not necessarily limited to, the following academic interests: Health Sciences, Nursing, Public Health/Public Health Administration, Business, and Computer Science/Informatics.
