The following course equivalency lists are to be used as a guide when determining what type of equivalencies a student will receive for coursework taken abroad on an IU-administered or co-sponsored academic year or semester program. These lists are updated approximately twice a year and are subject to change.

Please see the individual course equivalency lists for more detailed instructions about course availability, selection, and minimum enrollment. Students participating on IU programs are guaranteed to receive at least 100-level elective credit (DEPT-OS 100) toward their degrees. Any specific equivalencies that appear in the equivalency lists have been evaluated and approved for all students by that particular department.
