• WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management is an internationally oriented, private business school. Founded in 1984, WHU is one of the most renowned German Business Schools and partners with over 200 universities around the world.

This program is restricted to students admitted to the IU Bloomington Kelley School of Business.

The program will satisfy the IUB Gen Ed World Languages and Culture Requirement.

• Exchange students can apply for housing on or near campus, or search for a private apartment. Housing is furnished and equipped with bedding, some cooking utensils, nearby laundry facilities, and WLAN internet services.
• WHU offers exchange students support in finding accommodation. Students must submit their housing applications according to university deadlines.

You may apply if you:

• are an admitted Kelley business student on the Bloomington campus
• are in at least your fourth full-time semester of college
• have (or will have) successfully completed the KSB prerequisites of the Business Integrative Core by the start of the program
• have at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA

Students must have a passport valid for six months beyond program's end date.

Students must be able to demonstrate flexibility, resilience, and self-reliance.

Complete eligibility criteria and selection criteria are outlined within the Academic Policies and Procedures of the Office of Overseas Study. Selection is based on maturity, seriousness of purpose, and appropriateness of match between program and applicant. Students on disciplinary probation during program period are ineligible.

Fall 2022

• Fees paid to IU: (academic fees and health insurance)
  • Indiana resident: $5,384.66*
  • Non-resident: $19,221.13*
• Airfare, housing, meals, personal expenses, and vacation travel not included.

*The Overseas Study fee is based on actual IU tuition that is set by the IU Board of Trustees and billed based on a student’s residency. 

Initial prepayment of $500 due April 5, 2022. 

Spring 2023
